How It Works
Select a PNG file and adjust the quality slider. Click Convert and the JPG image is generated right in your browser using the Canvas API. No file is ever uploaded to a server.
The quality slider controls JPG compression — lower values produce smaller files with more compression artifacts.
Why Convert PNG to JPG?
PNG files use lossless compression and support transparency, which makes them larger. JPG uses lossy compression that produces much smaller files — often 5-10x smaller — which is ideal for photos, web images, and email attachments.
Note that JPG does not support transparency. Any transparent areas in your PNG will be filled with a white background.
