Timezone Converter

Convert time between timezones. Free, no signup.

How It Works

Select a time, date, and source timezone, then pick a target timezone. The converted time updates instantly. Daylight saving time adjustments are handled automatically by your browser.

Common Timezone Reference

Abbreviations like EST or CET map to IANA zone names in the menus. Offsets shift by one hour where daylight saving applies.

Common Uses

Use the converter to schedule international meetings, plan calls with remote teammates, catch a live stream or product launch at the right local time, coordinate travel across timezones, and work out when to reach family or friends abroad. Because it defaults the From menu to your own timezone, you can answer "what time is it there?" in a couple of clicks.

Frequently Asked Questions

How do I convert time between two timezones?

Set the time and date, choose the source timezone in the From menu, and pick the destination in the To menu. The converted time, its full date, and the hour difference appear instantly below. The From menu defaults to your own timezone and the To menu to UTC.

Which timezones can I choose from?

You can pick from the complete IANA timezone database that your browser provides, covering every region such as America/New_York, Europe/London, Asia/Tokyo and hundreds more, as well as UTC. Underscores in zone names are shown as spaces for readability.

Does it handle daylight saving time?

Yes. Daylight saving adjustments are applied automatically for the specific date you enter, because the conversion uses your browser's built-in timezone rules. Changing the date can change the offset if one zone is in DST and the other is not.

Why does the converted result show a different day?

When two zones are far apart, converting can roll the clock past midnight, so the result may fall on the previous or next day. The tool shows the full weekday and date alongside the time so you always know which day the converted time lands on.

Is my time data sent to a server?

No. All conversion happens locally in your browser using the Intl date and timezone APIs. Nothing you enter leaves your device, so it works offline once the page has loaded.
