Why Rotate PDF Pages?
Scanned documents are often saved in the wrong orientation. Rotating fixes landscape pages that should be portrait, or corrects upside-down scans. Some printers also require specific page orientations before a document will print correctly.
Which Angle Do I Need?
The rotation you pick adds to each page's current angle. Use this guide to choose the right one:

How do I rotate a PDF page online?

Does rotating the PDF permanently save the new orientation?
Yes. The tool writes the new rotation into the PDF itself, so the downloaded file opens in the correct orientation in any viewer. The rotation is added to each page's existing angle, not just displayed.
Can I rotate only one page instead of the whole document?
No. This tool applies the same rotation to every page in the PDF at once. If pages need different angles, rotate the file, or split it first with the PDF Splitter and rotate the parts separately.
What is the difference between 90, 180, and 270 degrees?
90 degrees turns pages a quarter-turn clockwise, 180 degrees flips them upside down, and 270 degrees turns them a quarter-turn clockwise three times, which is the same as 90 degrees counter-clockwise. Pick the one that matches how your pages are misaligned.
Is it safe to rotate a private or confidential PDF here?
Yes. The file is processed entirely in your browser using the pdf-lib library and is never sent to any server, so confidential documents stay on your device.
