PDF Merger

Combine multiple PDFs into one. Free, no signup, no upload.

How It Works

Select two or more PDF files. Drag to reorder or use the arrow buttons to arrange them. Click Merge and a single PDF containing all pages is generated in your browser. No file is ever uploaded to a server.

Why Merge PDFs?

Merging is useful when you need to combine separate documents into one — for example, joining scanned pages, combining multiple reports, or assembling a portfolio from individual files.

Common Uses

Because pages are copied in the order you set, you stay in full control of how the final document reads.

Tips for Merging

Rename your files or check the numbered list before merging so the order is exactly what you want — the tool follows the on-screen sequence, not the order you picked the files. Every page of each source PDF is kept, so if you only need part of a file, split it first and merge the piece you need. The merged file is saved as merged.pdf.

Frequently Asked Questions

How do I merge PDF files into one?

Select two or more PDF files at once, arrange them in the order you want, then click Merge PDFs. Every page from every file is combined into a single document in that order, and a Download PDF button appears so you can save the result as merged.pdf.

Can I change the order of the PDFs before merging?

Yes. Each file appears in a numbered list that you can rearrange by dragging items up or down, or by using the up and down arrow buttons. The final PDF follows the order shown, so set it before you click Merge.

Are my PDF files uploaded to a server?

No. Merging is done entirely in your browser with the pdf-lib library. Your files are read locally and never uploaded, stored, or transmitted, so even sensitive documents stay private on your device.

How many PDFs can I merge at once?

You need at least two files, and there is no fixed upper limit built into the tool. In practice the number and size of files you can combine depends on your device's available memory, since everything is processed in the browser.

Can I merge a password-protected PDF?

Encrypted or password-protected PDFs may fail to load and merge. Remove the password first with our PDF Password Remover, then bring the unlocked file back here to combine it with the others.
