How It Works
Select a PDF and the tool lists every page size it contains, in millimetres and inches. Choose the paper size you want, then click Resize Pages. Each page is scaled by the same amount in both directions so it fits the new sheet, and centred. Nothing is stretched or cropped; if a page's shape differs from the paper, the spare space becomes a white border.
Pages are placed as vector content, not converted to images, so text stays sharp and selectable. The page's existing rotation and its crop box (the visible area) are respected. Pages that are already exactly the target size are copied across untouched.
Merged several PDFs and ended up with pages of different sizes? This guide explains why it happens.
Scale to Fit or Shrink Only?
Scale to fit makes every page as large as the sheet allows, so a 4 × 6 in receipt is enlarged to fill a Letter page. Shrink only reduces pages that are too big but leaves smaller pages at their real size, centred on the sheet, which is better for receipts, tickets and ID cards you want printed at actual size.
A4 and US Letter are close but not the same shape. A4 is narrower and taller, so an A4 page placed on Letter is scaled to about 94% and gets small white bands at the sides. A Letter page placed on A4 is scaled to about 97% with bands at the top and bottom.

PDF measures pages in points, 72 to the inch. The table above lists the ones you are most likely to meet.
Limits
- Clickable links, comments and fillable form fields on resized pages are not kept. Use the PDF Form Flattener first if a form's values need to stay visible.
- Password-protected or restricted PDFs must be unlocked first with the PDF Password Remover.
- Bookmarks and document outline entries are not carried over.
- Very large files are limited only by your browser's memory.
Frequently Asked Questions
How do I make all pages of a PDF the same size?
Select the PDF, check the table of current page sizes, then choose a target size such as US Letter, A4 or Legal, or match the first or largest page. Click Resize Pages and every page is scaled to fit that size and centred. Download the result as a new PDF.
Will the text get blurry after resizing?
No. Each page is placed onto the new sheet as vector content, not turned into an image, so text and line art stay sharp at any zoom and remain selectable and searchable.
What happens to landscape pages?
By default each page keeps its orientation: landscape pages go on a landscape sheet of the chosen size. You can instead make every page portrait or landscape, and choose whether pages that do not match are shrunk to fit or turned sideways to use more of the sheet.
Does it stretch or crop my pages?
No. Pages are scaled by the same amount in both directions, so nothing is stretched, and they are centred on the new sheet. When the shape of a page differs from the target paper, the leftover space appears as a white border. Only the visible area of each page (its crop box) is used.
Do links and form fields survive?
Pages that are already exactly the target size are copied unchanged, links and all. Pages that are resized keep their text, images and drawings, but clickable links, comments and fillable form fields on those pages are not carried over. Flatten a form first if you need its values to stay visible.
Is my PDF uploaded anywhere?
No. The PDF is read and rebuilt in your browser with the pdf-lib library. Nothing is uploaded, so confidential documents stay on your device.
