Because the timecode locks in as soon as you type the first character, you can begin a note the moment something happens and finish writing it afterward without drifting off the mark. If you pause playback, click Stop to freeze the timer too, then Start again when you resume. Notes never need to be perfectly ordered as you go — each one keeps its own captured time, and you can edit or drop any entry before you copy or download the finished list.

What format are the timecodes and notes exported in?
Each line is plain text in the format MM:SS - your comment, switching to HH:MM:SS once the timer passes one hour. You can copy all the notes to your clipboard or download them as a .txt file named timecodes.txt.
Does it capture the timecode when I start typing or when I hit Enter?
It captures the moment you type the first character of a note, not when you press Enter. That way the timestamp reflects when the event happened, even if you take a few seconds to finish writing the comment.
Are my notes saved if I close or refresh the page?
Yes. Your timer state and every note are saved in your browser's local storage, so a refresh or accidental close keeps your work. Clicking Reset clears the timer and all notes for a fresh session.
Can I edit or delete a note after logging it?
Yes. Each logged entry has an Edit button to change the comment and a Drop button to remove it. Everything stays on your device and is never uploaded to any server.
